    Installation and Maintenance

Installation instructions and recommendations for key components of the performance of your floor can be found on our website at www.windroseflooring.com or by contacting Windrose Flooring via your authorized dealer. Long term performance of your floor depends on suitability of job site conditions, use of proper installation methods, and adherence to the installation instructions provided with each floor. It is the responsibility of the person installing the floor to determine job site suitability and adhere to the provided instructions. Proper care and maintenance are the responsibility of the end user.

**Prior to beginning the installation, the end use customer should inspect product for defects and to ensure product to be installed is consistent with the product they ordered. Installed materials will be considered accepted and only post installation performance issues will be considered under this warranty. **

    Limitations

Windrose Flooring warranty is limited to our flooring materials and adhesives only. Where applicable Windrose Flooring will also reimburse the cost of installation, in accordance with industry standard rates, of the defective materials only. Collateral materials including but limited to, base boards, cabinetry, subfloors, underlayment, or labor associated with moving furniture or fixtures will not be included in the labor reimbursement under this warranty.

    Exclusions

Shade variation is an inherent part of the design, not a defect. Accordingly, variation in shade or color from the sample is possible. Consumers should request sufficient sized samples to understand the complete design. Dissatisfaction with color, shade, or sheen must be identified prior to installation.

Damage caused by improper installation or abuse is also excluded.

Damage caused by vacuum beater bar or use of rubber-backed mats.

Any use of Windrose Flooring products outside their intended use.
